About Simon & Josef
Simon & Josef (S&J) allows guests staying multiple nights to cancel or personalize their room cleaning, allowing the hotel to save natural resources and streamline housekeeping, while maintaining a top guest experience.
S&J has set itself the task of making room cleaning in hotels more customized and ecological in order to reduce the consumption of natural, financial and chemical resources. It's all about enhancing the individual guest experience and making the stay more attractive for the guests. All the pains with the red & green door cards belong to the past and the staff processes are simplified.
The hotel can place a QR-code card (designed and printed by us or by the hotel) in the room , which directs guests to a survey where they can cancel or personalize their housekeeping, no login necessary! Alternatively, every guest who stays at least two nights can receive an SMS from the hotel via the S&J platform with a link to the same survey. This way, the guest can easily cancel or personalize the room cleaning from anywhere and at any time. The survey is available in multiple languages: English, German, French, Italian and Portuguese.
If the guest does nothing, the room is cleaned as usual. The guests do not forego any comfort when using S&J, they can personalize the room cleaning according to their wishes and contribute to sustainability.
Every day at the desired time, the hotel receives a report in PDF format by e-mail or through an integration with HotelKit. In the report, all rooms are listed with the services requested by the guest.
No IT installation is necessary in the hotel, as all information is processed externally and can be viewed on the hotel's own dashboard at any time.
When the guests uses S&J, the hotelier saves money through cancelled or shorter housekeeping. At the end of the month, S&J charges a commission on the savings. There is also a one-time initial setup fee per room.

- We are member of "1% for the planet", and thus 1% of our annual turnover is donated. You can also choose optional partnerships to do even more good, such as water access or tree planting programs.

Room synchronization for easier onboarding
Your rooms are automatically synchronized to our application, facilitating onboarding.
Reservation synchronization for better data and communication
Reservations are automatically synchronized, which avoids guests participating on the last day of their stay (where a cleaning is mandatory). This also allows guests to save their housekeeping preferences for the whole stay, and optionally to notify them of the service by SMS to increase engagement.
